Ok, so on of the first N/A mods anyone is going to do for their GA is a tubular exhaust header. the question is, which one is the best?
well, there are four that are made (technically 5, but two are identical).
The first is the best. unrequited champion header is the hot-shot Gen 2 header. it is the best quality, best design, the most expensive, and discontinued as hot-shot has gone out of business. if you can find one. get it. simple as that. it pairs cylinders 1 with 4 and 2 with 3. it's a 2 piece header, so installation is easy. its just the best. end of story.
the second most popular is the Pacesetter. it is junk. it is an absolute piece of shit. the welds are terrible, the flanges are small, and it doesn't even pair the right cylinders together!!! why is it the second most popular? because it was believed to be the only one other than the ebay headers available once hot-shot disappeared, and it was much cheaper than hot-shot. however, DO NOT BUY IT!!! it is a waste of your money!
third is the OBX/Ebay header. it gets both tags because it is Ebay sellers have copied the OBX design (thank goodness!!). it is much better quality than the pacesetter. the flanges are thick! the welds are GOOD, and it's a one piece design, so it is less susceptible to flange warping. and it can be had for $100 shipped brand new! the ebay ones are just as good of quality. the part that does suck is that it's a one piece, so installation is a little tough. but not bad.
the fourth header is the WeaponR header. I honestly know nothing about it, and haven't heard of anyone running it. if the given pictures are of the product, if has the right cylinder matching, the runners are nice and long, and the header looks like a nice design. it costs about the same as a pacesetter header, and an OBX header. it is a one piece design, so same pros and cons as the OBX/Ebay.
